Description

In Romania, 80,498 Ukrainian refugees were registered on 18.09.2022. Out of these, 67,064 are registered with temporary
protection status or other similar national aid schemes (UNHCR). Unofficial data reveals that there are approximately 7,000
Ukrainians in Iasi, most of them women and children. According to UNHCR, refugees need assistance and support to make informed
decisions, access to services and support that will ensure their sustainability through integration on the labor market that will
reduce their dependence on social aid, specific attention given to people with specific needs. The project aims to address the needs
of Ukrainian citizens through a complex of services provided based on the evaluation and constant monitoring of their progress with
the ultimate goal of sustainable increased in the quality of their life during their staying in Romania. Three large categories of
services will be provided: a).counselling and legal assistance (70 people), b).social counselling, psychological assistance and
emotional support (100 people) and c).services regarding the integration on the labor market – through information, counselling
and vocational or professional guidance, professional training programs, mediation and employment on the labor market (50
people). Direct activities with a social, educational and cultural aim are planned be offered through workshops for at least 200,
especially children and youths. The final beneficiaries are 300 people (adults and children), refugees from Ukraine who live
temporarily within Iasi county and they will be actively involved in all stages of the project through needs assessment, consultations
and support in making informed decisions. The Promoter (PP) will be responsible for activities from A1-A6, Partner P1 will have
activities from A7-9, while for the activities A1, A2 and A10, the partners will make contributions together.
