Description

The project involves modernizing and expanding the activities of the marina in Niedźwiedzi Róg on Poland’s largest Lake Śniardwy. Currently, the marina does not provide extensive and comprehensive services expected by marina users, as its infrastructure is outdated. We wish to develop services for sailors and create optimal conditions for the stationing of vessels. It is therefore necessary to improve port infrastructure and optimize the management of port services. The project will increase the number of berths in our marina by 40% from the current 200 berths to 280. It will also increase the quality of services and expand their range by collecting waste from yachts, providing electricity and water on the waterfront, increasing the recreation area through the construction of gazebos, improving communication through the construction of an internal road, improving accessibility to port services, including the introduction of online booking and payment and navigation to the port. We will introduce modern IT solutions: a harbor application, a LED board with QR code, and a kiosk providing information about services at the port and local attractions. A crane for moving wheelchairs from the wharf to the boat will allow people with limited mobility to use the marina.

In addition to collecting waste from yachts, which reduces the risk of illegal drops of sewage into the lake, our pro-environmental measures will include improved waste management and the installation of waste collection equipment in the harbor basin. Also, the installation of PV and an electric car charging station will ensure a reduction of CO2 emissions by 12.56 tons per year, and the promotion of RES and electromobility among boaters.
