Description
The growing importance of ecology in numerous industries increased public interest in tourism in rural and forested areas. There is a growing demand for weekend tourism, and business and incentive tourism. These trends support the development of qualified tourism, specialized tourism, ecotourism and agritourism, and Poland is one of the European countries that can meet the needs of “closer to nature” tourism. Our answer to the above is to expand Trans-San’s existing activities (including transportation services) and build a modern medium-sized yacht port equipped with an innovative system for managing a fleet of yachts and boats on Lake Solina in the Bieszczady Mountains. The project will include the purchase of: 2 floating piers for mooring boats with chargers for electric drives; 2 floating waste disposal systems; 8 electric-powered motor yachts (6-passenger); 14 electric-powered motor boats (5-passenger). We will also commission development work to design and implement a system for managing a fleet of yachts and motor boats on the navigationally restricted reservior, taking into account the change in the height of the lake’s water table - rarely seen on other bodies of water.
The installation of floating waste collection devices will help us to carry out educational and informational campaigns about the amount and type of waste collected, and raise awareness among boaters about how their behavior affects the ecosystem and can threaten the preservation of the beauty and diversity of Lake Solina.
