Description

Maya Victory recycles used electric and electronic appliances. The aim of the project is to introduce an innovative, highly automated process for the recycling and sorting of used electric and electronic appliances, which will increase the recovery rate of recycled appliances thanks to a high material selectivity.

We have established cooperation with a Norwegian partner, TOMRA Sorting AS. The partner is responsible for developing the production process and expanding our MeWa technological line to include machines (separators) designed by TOMRA Sorting. Peripheral equipment and a dust collection system will also be added to the line.

The new technological process will allow for more effective recycling of secondary raw materials for reuse according to the 4R principle. We will be able to recover mono-fractions of secondary raw materials at the level of 71% of input waste, and to process 24.6 tons of input waste during an 8-hour shift. The process will result in a significant reduction of annual CO2 emission by 15,332 tons and to an annual waste recovery rate of 9,908.27 tons.

The project will bring increased profitability of the process of recycling and sorting of used appliances through an increasing number of production shifts, reduced selling and overhead costs, and reduced  labour consumption of the process.
