Description

The project is about the development of a new model of rehabilitation services, and an expansion of Accessmedica’s activities by services provided in a newly created centre in Lidzbark Warmiński (currently the company provides rehabilitation services in two other centres). We will build and equip a modern rehabilitation facility for people with orthopaedic, neurological, cardiac and pulmonological diseases (including those requiring oxygen therapy following COVID-19 infection), together with an outpatient clinic and a hotel for patients. The services will be innovative by their comprehensiveness - combining technical and organisational solutions with more effective diagnostics, therapy and safety. The natural treatment facility, together with the outpatient clinic, will be able to serve up to 400 patients per day on an outpatient or daily basis, relying on natural therapeutic resources such as peat, thermal waters, brines and CO2 gas for rehabilitation treatments. The following services will be offered: 1. rehabilitation medicine and general clinic; 2. rehabilitation and therapeutic services: balneotherapy, peloid therapy, hydrotherapy, thermotherapy, phototherapy, physical therapy, therapeutic massage.

The project costs will include: the construction of a rehabilitation centre, the purchase of equipment for rehabilitation and natural therapy, the purchase of an application for recording and reading diagnostics (ECG, pulse oximetry, blood pressure, falls) and development works to be carried out in the Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn. The aim of the latter is to create a comprehensive programme of diagnostic and therapy of manual functions, walking functions to improve the independence of elderly people in everyday life.
