Description

Artrys Projekt, which provides comprehensive services of ventilated façades installation, is introducing a product innovation related to sustainable (energy-efficient) construction - a system for fixing and mounting ventilated facades with significantly better thermal, static and mounting properties as compared to those available in the market. The product is a result of research and development work done by Artrys. Our idea is that the materials used in the system can be recycled after their useful life. The system will be dedicated to the construction industry including large-scale and industrial buildings, and small buildings for various purposes.

A unique feature and competitive advantage of the new product is a bracket made of one piece of metal with a rectangular hole filled with plastic mixture by means of a direct injection technique. Thanks to its design and use of a suitable plastic mixture, the brackets have perfect thermal parameters and help eliminate the so-called thermal bridges. Tests have confirmed that the use of our passive brackets reduces heat losses by 39.8% as compared to the standard solution. It provides significant energy savings and translates into positive ecological and social effects.

The project covers the purchase of machinery for the new brackets production, and development work consisting in the validation of the product in terms of strength and functionality, fire resistance and thermal insulation in an accredited laboratory that carries out tests in order to obtain a national technical assessment.

In addition to significant heat savings obtained through the heat-insulating properties of the product, the project will help save 1.32 tons of CO2 per year, which are now generated by the transport of brackets from a subcontractor.

Summary of project results

The main challenge the project aimed to address was to introduce a new innovative product to the market and expand the production line at the company''s facility.

The project aimed to improve the company''s sales results and broaden its product offering.

A major challenge was to become independent from the companies to which production had been previously outsourced and to start our own production line.

Engaging in the project allowed us to analyze the company''s operations and consider the direction of its further development.

Working on the project showed the company''s significant potential and how, with a set goal, we can achieve it.

Thanks to the funding, we were able to purchase appropriate, specialized machinery and equipment and start producing our products independently.

The company''s offering has been expanded with new products that we introduce to the market.

Participation in the project also proved to be excellent PR, as the funding involved environmental protection and reducing CO2 emissions.

As a result of the project implementation, we achieved all the objectives we aimed to accomplish.

Primarily, we introduced a new innovative product, expanded our scope of operations by launching our own production line, hired additional staff, contributed to greater environmental awareness, reduced supply chain dependencies, decreased CO2 emissions, and promoted the project, Norway, and green business solutions.
