Mobility in Higher Education
Summary of project results
The mail goal of the Project was to organize international mobility for employees and students, enabling the transfer of knowledge and experience between participants from Poland, Iceland and Norway. Mobility is one of the main goals of education and training policies, f.e. in the European Union, provided for in Atr. 149 and 150 of the treaty establishing the European Community. Project activities - through international mobility - enriched the learning experience, supported the transfer of viewers and also helped build a sense of European citizenship. On the other hand, in the long term, the project has a chance to positively affect the labor market, research potential at the European level, as well as improving the quality of education programs. The Project contributed positively to improving the European dimension of higher educationin the field of music, tightening international cooperation, and also enabled the transfer of the so-called good practices. The validation of the project was successful - each of the participants (35) in the ex-post survey emphasized the significant impact of the project on increasing competences in terms of education, as well as social and intercultura competences.
Summary of bilateral results
Mobility projects are, as a rule, based on institutional cooperation, which is a platform for the exchange of academic staff and students. Good cooperation of the project leaders, based on many years of experience and trust, contrubuted to the successful complementation of the task, despite the fact that the first year of the project implementation entirely fell on the pandemic period. The partner group showed both understanding and flexibility, in emergency situations, when, for example, a student from Norway decided literally at the last minute, not to go to Poland, based on the list of willing participants, their needs and institutional possibilities, about the transfer mobility to another participant.
