Description

Regular folklore events organised in a mountainous region with limited access to culture (given the considerable distance from large cities), expanded to include innovative theatrical performances (“community theatre”, see item b)); furthermore, thanks to partner cooperation, all agendas shall be expanded to include shows by folk artists/ ensembles from other microregions (min. 10 guest performances) and guests from Norway (min. 2 guest performances).

1) A study visit was carried out for representatives of Polish partners in Norway,2) A competition was held for a regional highland souvenir (described above). Ordered andhighlander souvenirs were produced to promote the project and individual groups of highlanders3) Two study visits for folk artists were carried out. The visit took place on March 27-29, 2023study on the development of regional souvenirs and entrepreneurship, in which representatives took partPolish project partners and local artists from the area of ​​Krynica-Zdrój, Piwniczna-Zdrój, Zawoja, LipnicaWielka and Łącko (20 people in total). The aim of the visit was to present the experiences of various organizations andinstitutions from Zawoja, Stryszawa, Koniaków, Jaworzynka and the Karpia Valley area (Zator, Osiek, Tomice,Woźniki) in the field of promotion and certification of local handicraft products and development on this basisentrepreneurship. On August 18-20, 2023, the second study visit to local andrepresentatives of project partners regarding the development of entrepreneurship based on local products. Visittook place in Lublin during the "Re:tradition Festival - Jagiellonian Fair" - one of the leadingevents in Poland, where traditional products and handicrafts from various parts of Poland are promoted.4) A survey of the needs and preferences of the recipients of the project partners'' activities was conducted(surveys were prepared, the results were collected for several months and then analyzed. Results of the analysiswere presented during the conference summarizing the project.5) 5 Polish project partners developed a cultural offer presenting local heritagecultural for foreigners, which was tested by guests from Norway during their visit toon August 29-September 4, 2023 (6 people, 5-day visit to Poland in various microregions - participation of guests fromNorway in local events, workshops, presentations); feedback from partners was collectedfrom Norway (evaluation of the offer in the form of surveys after each day of the visit, tips on proposed changesprovided as part of the Polish-Norwegian teleconference on November 27, 2023).6) On March 11, 2024, a meeting for entrepreneurs related to the tourism industry was held in Zawoja.All of the above activities contributed to the development of cultural entrepreneurship because they constitutedinspiration to act and contributed to the professionalization of cultural staff

 

Summary of bilateral results

Throughout the entire project implementation period, all partners:1) They participated in arrangements regarding the schedule for the implementation of activities and their shape, as well as inarrangements regarding detailed rules for settling expenses incurred under the project(stationary meeting: November 16, 2022 Piwniczna-Zdrój, January 19, 2023 Łącko, February 15, 2023 Zawoja, May 17, 2023 Łącko,19/09/2023 Krynica-Zdrój, 03/01/2024 Lipnica Wielka, 05/03/2024 Kraków and online)2) They participated in the promotional activities of the project, informing on their Facebook fan pages /websites and activities carried out as part of this project.3) They provided resources for the preparation of promotional materials on an ongoing basis, as needed,were involved in editing texts (including the calendar of events "Treasures of the Highlanders from outside Podhale" for the year2023 and creating content for maps, coordinating meetings necessary to create promotional spots andmany other)4) Took part in preparations (visit plan, accommodation, meals, attractions, meetings, lectures) for the visitexperts from Norway in Poland, which took place at the turn of August and September (29/08-04/09) and was intended totesting the region''s tourist offer for foreign tourists.5) Supported the activities of the project leader (including recruitment for study visits, visits of partners from Norway,preparation of the summary conference).
