Description

The grant will help us to focus on increasing the professionalism of our activities and developing the capacity of our Association, while maintaining free access to our offer to the audiences. It will enable us to increase the time commitment of people engaged in the Association''s activities, which will have a positive impact on the management of the organisation and increase the scale of activities. In addition, the grant will contribute to improving the working conditions of those not employed in the implementation of the project, providing them with access to better tools and funding their participation in training courses where they can develop their competences. Thanks to the grant, we will also expand the offer of sex education workshops, responding to the needs expressed in the surveys after the pilot workshops. In addition, the grant-funded meetings related to the Association''s journalistic activities will enable better interaction with authors and promote our activities, while enriching our content offer.

Summary of project results

The aim of the project was to develop the organization by providing funds for training for the association''s members and developing communication by employing people responsible for the association''s social media and preparing a communication strategy. The project also included activities of journalistic and educational teams - the project assumed the development of teams by providing educational materials, access to paid journalistic content and the employment of specialists.

As part of the project, actions were taken to develop the competences of the Association''s members by organizing 5 workshops on various aspects of work in the organization. Three outlines of sexual education workshops were created, original educational materials were developed and printed (3 educational boards on topics related to the workshop outlines). 6 sexual education workshops were conducted for various workshop groups in 4 cities in Poland. During the project, the editorial team organized two open meetings related to the topics discussed in the Lepsza Journalism texts created during the project. The meetings had an open form, participation was possible both live and online, which allowed for discussion not only about topics in a global context, but also about their aspects directly related to local communities. We also created a new, extensive communication strategy for the Association, which allowed us to clarify the mission and communicate more precisely with recipients.

As a result of the activities carried out, new cooperation was established with social organizations, which will be continued in the future. Thanks to the organization of training for members of the Association, various competences of members were developed, which allows them to work in the organization in a better and more qualitative way. The organization''s technical infrastructure was also expanded. These changes allowed for the professionalization of the activities and functioning of the organization. The grant helped us acquire knowledge, skills and competences that will have a long-term impact on the quality of the organization''s work. Professionalizing the Association''s communication and working methods will help us continue our activities at a higher level and transfer the acquired knowledge to people who will join the organization. The grant also allowed us to reach new groups of people with high-quality activities who will follow us and participate in our activities even after the end of the grant.
