Description
The main goal of the project is to empower school students with migration experience by strengthening their voice and presence in the local community. We want to increase knowledge about multiculturalism at school among Polish school students as well as teachers'' knowledge about the needs of migrants. We also want to raise awareness among the general public about the needs and situation of school students with migration experience. There is a growing number of persons with migration experience in the Polish educational system. Unfortunately, neither teachers nor pupils are prepared to receive school students with migration experience in their schools. In this project we sensitise pupils to the problem of discrimination. We reinforce attitudes of openness and respect towards the other. We support dialogue and promote Nonviolent Communication (NVC). We conduct workshops to develop the self-advocacy competences of school students with migration experience and anti-discrimination workshops for Polish students. We organise a congress for teachers with workshop elements. A publication will also be developed containing the results of a study on the situation of students with migration experience and excerpts from their diaries. Partners in the project are: Wrocław Upper Secondary School No. XV and Beatus Cras, a Polish association from Norway, which will share good practices during a study visit to Norway.

Summary of bilateral results
Bilateral cooperation activities were carried out with the Bergen-based Beatsus Cras.A study visit to Norway was planned as part of the project. Beatus Cras organized meetings in schools so that representatives of the Norwegian migrant education could see Norwegian solutions and teachers'' work with this group. A meeting was held with representatives of the city to learn about systemic solutions. The Norwegian organization also proposed sharing good practices on site regarding cooperation with parents of young migrants and learning about several solutions that have proven effective in Norwegian conditions. During the visit to Norway, the Applicant''s representatives took an active part in BC activities aimed at migrants and refugees.Three online meetings were held to learn about the methods of work in both organizations (FREYA and BEATUS CRAS) and to exchange experiences between representatives of the organizations. The BC representative took an active part (as a speaker) in the conference, which was one of the activities during the project. The speaker presented the conference participants with methods of supporting migrants and refugees in Norway. She spoke about both systemic solutions and the activities of NGOs.We will exchange experiences and good practices. Poland has fewer years of experience in supporting migrants and refugees, but the considerations proposed by NGOs are interesting and worth imitating.
