Description

The Centre for Promotion and Development of Civic Initiatives PISOP’s vision: we are a stable, well-known civic organisation in Poland that understands and meets the needs of NGOs, has an attractive and modern offer, and responds to new trends. Our mission: we believe in the importance and power of initiatives of citizens, NGOs and social enterprises.  Our main goal is to initiate and conduct information and education activities in the areas of the development, promotion and strengthening of the idea of civil society. The specific goals are: to support non-governmental organisations, social economy, intersectoral cooperation, civic activity, volunteerism, democracy, social innovation. Our beneficiaries are NGOs. We cooperate with local government units, companies, universities. Planned activities: 1. To develop the cooperation with local government units and expansion of territorial coverage, including: - direct visits to municipalities, meetings with NGOs, needs research, - development of an offer for local self-government units, - networking meetings of local government units, - running a newsletter. 2. To build the cooperation with business, including: - involving NGOs in CSR activities and in activities aimed at achieving sustainable development goals, - media campaign - development of the Linkedin fanpage, a new website, - implementation of initiatives linking NGOs and companies, - engagement of leaders (business, media, etc.), - business club meetings - presentation of the offer, - developing and sending the newsletter. 3. To develop the cooperation with universities, and international cooperation, including: - development and implementation of a strategy, - implementation of joint initiatives, e.g. volunteering, CSR activities, social research, - activities for students. 4. Activities for the development of the staff competencies, including: - identification of the staff needs, specialisations, - training, coaching, international events.
