Organisational grant - implementation of submitted strategy.
The mission of the Foundation for Economy and Public Administration (the GAP Foundation) is to develop the economy of values and to disseminate solutions based on it in activities and public debate. Our vision: in 2025 we will be a leading expert and opinion-making organisation operating in Poland and abroad. We will develop the economy of values, implement various activities for NGOs, and have a distinctive institutional potential in the region. As part of the capacity building plan (organisation’s strategy), we have set 3 key strategic goals: 1. The development of the economy of values through the OEES (Open Eyes Economy Summit) congress initiatives, 2. The development of the OEES HUB initiatives and activities supporting NGOs, 3. Strengthening the GAP Foundation''s organisational capacity. We address our activities to the following target groups: - Academic staff, researchers, experts, teachers who wish to develop their activities using the concept of the economy of values; - Representatives of business, education, local authorities, NGOs, students interested in the economy of values in their everyday academic and professional practice and in running their organisations; - NGOs in the Lesser Poland Province needing support in their development; - Young people and seniors in the Lesser Poland Province as social groups in need of incentives for inclusion in social life and in need of intergenerational dialogue.
Summary of project results
The project (Institutional Grant) was intended to contribute to the implementation of some of the goals set out in the Development Strategy of the GAP Foundation, i.e.:
- Increasing the scale of OEES HUB operations by producing new podcasts, seminars and publications
- Increasing the international recognition of OEES HUB
- Development of fundraising through pilot implementation of the fundraising plan (including pilot fundraising campaigns)
- Minimizing the risk of employee burnout and increasing job satisfaction
- Professionalization of the area of human resources management
- Expansion of the equipment and furniture resources of the GAP Foundation in order to professionalize activities, increase the comfort of work in the office, and implement new initiatives
A number of activities were carried out under the Grant, which ultimately contributed to achieving the goals and indicators planned in the GAP Foundation Development Strategy.
The most important development activities carried out in 2022, 2023 and 2024 (including):
1) new podcasts were recorded and made available and new seminars were organized, thanks to which the scale of OEES HUB operations was increased,
2) the publication "What''s happening to the university?" was developed. in a new multimedia formula (https://cozuniwersytetem.oees.pl/),
3) the English OEES HUB website was built and launched,
4) a new department dealing with human resources (HR Department) was created and launched in the organizational structure of the Foundation - two employees specialized in this area were employed, new HR procedures were developed, tested and implemented,
5) as part of activities strengthening the Foundation''s team, an integration and sightseeing trip to Kashubia was organized on September 9-11, 2023, in which over half of the team members took part; Moreover, in April 2024, communication training was carried out for the entire team; Additionally, two-day workshops were organized to strengthen and build well-being for managerial staff
6) the Foundation''s equipment and furniture base has been significantly expanded, which will enable us to further professionalize our activities, including: in the field of recording podcasts and video materials, as well as increasing the comfort of work in our office,
7) two pilot fundraising campaigns were carried out, fundraising workshops were organized for part of the Foundation''s team,
8) the OEES HUB communication strategy and key visual of the publication were developed
9) new foreign (institutional) recipients became acquainted with the activities of OEES HUB and a foreign partner was obtained for one of the publications translated into English.
The activities planned under the Institutional Grant were addressed primarily to us as the GAP Foundation, to our employees, and also contributed to the implementation of new initiatives and projects aimed at the recipients of the Foundation''s activities, including: in the OEES HUB area.
