Tarxien Local Council is proposing a project of regeneration for Joanne Gardens, a large garden and playground in Tarxien, and using it for socio-cultural and educational activities. Being one of the few green lungs in our urban town, Joanne Gardens is highly frequented, and we want to use it as a base for community building activities. The project consists of three main elements which are: small-scale inteventions to Joanne Gardens, purchasing equipment needed by Tarxien Local Council to organise events and the organisation of community activities in Joanne Gardens.
