Description

The applicant JSC "Energy Advice" aims to create an innovative complex predictive maintenance system EA-Predictive, based on a unique methodology that enables to effectively manage not only the production but also the energy and management processes of the company and to combine them in a complex way. The commercialisation of this system will have a significant impact on the applicant''s competitiveness by providing industry with a qualitatively new and relevant product with the potential to restructure the market for predictive surveillance systems (PdM).

The project will be implemented with a partner, the West Norwegian University of Applied Sciences (Høgskulen på Vestlandet – HVL). The applicant''s main activity and the products being developed are for the management of the system''s energy processes, while HVL scientists have carried out research and achieved excellent results in the management of multilayer networks. During the implementation of the project, the partner will be responsible for the implementation of a multi-layered network based on machine learning in the system under development, preparation of testing procedures, testing of system functions, some programming activities.

EA-Predictive system is designed for chemical, wood and food industries that require large amounts of energy. The system modules being developed will be universal and can be adapted to other industries as well. The EA-Predictive system allows consumers to increase technological efficiency and production productivity, reduce energy consumption and reduce CO2 emissions.

Summary of project results

Industry has needs: to increase productivity, to require operating costs, to increase energy efficiency. Predictive Maintenance (PdM), currently the most advanced method of maintenance of production equipment for real-time remote monitoring of production processes, can help address these challenges.

During this project, an innovative complex predictive maintenance system EA-Predictive was developed, based on a unique methodology that allows efficient management of not only production, but also energy and management processes of companies and their complex integration. The system is designed for the chemical, wood, and food industries, which require large amounts of energy. The system modules developed in the project will be universal and can be adapted to other industries. This system will be more technologically advanced than those currently on the market, as it will be able to comprehensively model the processes taking place in the company and increase production productivity. This system is more technologically advanced than the current ones on the market, as is able to comprehensively model the company''s processes and increase production productivity. The project also developed algorithms for mathematical modelling of energy processes, which is patented and protected by intellectual property rights and confirmed as a global innovation.

Summary of bilateral results

The project was implemented with a partner, the University of Applied Sciences of Western Norway, whose staff experience, and competence strengthened the project and helped implement the project activities. After the implementation of the project, cooperation and R&D activities will continue, improving the complex predictive supervision system EA-Predictive development during the project, and development of new products for the market.
