Description

Agens is leading regional provider of printing solutions and printing services for diverse kinds of labels for different industries, exporting to more than 100 countries across the Globe, and 6 continents. It combines machines for printing (Digital, Offset, Leterpress…) with diverse finishes, so clients have infinitive possibilities of unique product designs that best highlights their products. It adheres to highest standards for quality and security.

To maintain its leading market position, company needs constant investment into new machines. Therefore, with this project, Agens is investing in new label printing press, that will contribute to more sustainable use of raw materials and energy resources in printing process; it will enable use of paper with a low proportion of optical brighteners, as well as recycled paper, and will bring waste and emissions in printing process to a minimum.

The technology is faster, therefore enables increase of the production capacity and has additional features that enables higher automation and digitalization of the production process. WIth this machine, the Company will be able to offer even better quality of its products, with more competitive prices, and assume new customers. It is expected that the investment will lead to increased revenues and profit of the company making it more resilient to market turbulence. 

Summary of project results

As the leading printed label provider for food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industry in region, the Promoter (Agens d.o.o.) tries with implementation of this project to reduce the usage of energy, raw materials, production waste, and CO2 emissions in its production process. 

Promoter invested in the latest printing equipment (printing press) with significant contribution to waste reduction, raw material and energy saving to decisively improve the company‘s eco-balance. Production facility has to be adjusted for the installment of the new print press and operators had to be trained.

Project output indicator has been fulfilled: 1 new innovative technology (new to the enterprise) - label and packaging printing press

Estimated increase in turnover for 2024, compared to 2020 is expected to be 9%. 

Estimated increase in net operating profit for 2024, compared to 2020 is expected to be 24%.

It is estimated that 4 new jobs are created in 2024 compared to 2020.
