Description

The project is focused on improving the use of existing and new IT technologies across the Diocesan Caritas Ostrava-Opava (DCHOO), which will lead to more efficient work of employees throughout the organization. DCHOO is holding an organizational structure and consists of 18 regional charities with legal personality. There are differences between organizations in the use of technology. We want to eliminate these differences by implementing the project. The elaboration of a strategic plan, the extension of Office 365 and the MS Azure cloud space will help us with this. We will use the optimization of PPC campaigns to better address the target group and increase awareness of the activity.

Summary of project results

The main result of the project is setting up Azure server – therefore saving of finance and data available from anywhere including accounting software in safe space. Also 10 licences for Windows/Office free of charge, replacement of computer performance by server etc. Some other impact are: employee training – before the project, our employees were afraid of changes and did not support them. Now they appreciate them and help with the process setting. Improving communication between employees throughout the organisation, more interest about the work of others, sharing knowledge and experience about how to make everyday tasks easier. Improving home office possibility in our organization. And mainly maintaining security of our system where if there is device in the system of our organisation we have full control over it. We also improved our use of applications which make our work easier. For example our employees are interested in using workflow and some attendance systems, Business Intelligence and others.
