Description

Mira mar 08 Ltd is a small family company specialized in coffee and cocoa production. The company is very successful on the national market – having several shops in the country, but also having shops in Europe. In the past few years, the company is having constant trend of developing and increasing its production. With the implementation of the project proposal the company will furthers increase the level of the energy efficiency with: • Installment of specialized high-tech machine for coffee beans baking with very high efficiency and with integrated innovative systems for the reduction of the CO2 gases. The baking of the beans is with hot air blowing controlled by the machine with constant monitoring of the level of readiness. The machine also controls the process of cooling of the beans for preserving their entirety. For the proper operation of the machine, new propane tank will be installed. This will reduce the consumption of energy, reduce the operational pressures and eliminate the losses from the unused fuel in the current bottles. • implementation of energy monitoring and control system • mounting of heat recovery unit for the utilization of the waste energy during the process of baking and returning it back to the industrial process as heating the supplied air for baking • Create strong relationship between the company and the Norwegian partner and sharing good practices between the countries The implementation of all of the activities will greatly increase the production capacity of the company while decreasing the production costs and energy consumption. The end result will be in total compliance with the goals of the program - increase the level of energy efficiency in the industry, reduction of the total consumed energy , reduction of the generated greenhouse gases.
