Description

M+S Hydraulic is a leading manufacturer of low-speed, high-torque, orbital hydraulic motors, hydrostatic servo controls, valves, brakes and accessories for them. The company holds a significant share of the global hydraulic motor market. The company manufactures a full range of low-speed, high-torque, hydraulic orbital motors that are used in the agricultural, forestry, mining, food, transport and engineering industries, as well as a wide range of hydrostatic steering controls for low-speed vehicle applications, a wide variety of valves, servo controls, hydraulic brakes, etc. The main technological processes carried out in the plant are structured into two groups: metalworking and heat processing. The company''s corporate policy is aimed at continuous modernization, expansion and improvement of the product range, the working environment, as well as achieving better energy efficiency and reducing harmful CO2 emissions, through investments in new technologies. In recent years, M+S Hydraulic has implemented numerous projects to achieve better resource efficiency, with the renewal of the machine park, replacement of the lighting system, installation of photovoltaic panels and a number of others. The current project proposal is a continuation of this strategy. Its main goal is to achieve better energy efficiency and to reduce CO2 emissions as a result of the heat treatment processes at M+S Hydraulic. Specifically, the following three measures will be implemented: ECM - 1 Replacement of old energy-intensive equipment with modern energy-efficient ones ESM - 2 Installment of Energy consumption monitoring system ESM - 3 Utilization of waste heat from ESM-1. The expected results of the implementation of these measures are: Energy savings: 949,724 MWh/year Carbon dioxide emissions saved: 797,14 tCO2/year Annual savings: 198 524leva.
