Description
A key component to achieving the European Green Deal and the EU''s climate neutrality and circular economy goals is improving the energy efficiency of industry. The main objective of the current project proposal is related to providing support for the optimization and implementation of energy-efficient solutions and technologies, as well as more efficient management and reduction of energy consumption. The project includes the implementation of measures to increase energy efficiency in the industrial processes in the production of "Laki 131" Ltd: purchase of a robotic system for mechanical cleaning of aluminum castings, a dryer for silicone seals, powered by waste heat from the compressors, construction of a rooftop photovoltaic plant , devices for monitoring and managing the energy produced. The measures are recommended with an Energy Efficiency Survey Report. Cooperation with an organization from the donor countries is an essential element in the project proposal. Therefore, an exchange of specific experience and know-how with a partner from the Kingdom of Norway - IDN Research AS - has been set as an main activity of the project. The expected results of the implementation of the project are the introduction of energy efficiency measures in industrial processes, lower electricity consumption, which will reflect directly and positively on the environment, as it will reduce energy costs and lead to more efficient consumption of energy resources used in production, as well as will reduce the harmful emissions of CO2 and other local harmful pollutants. The main target group of the project proposal is the employees of Laki 131 Ltd and the project partner from the Kingdom of Norway IDN Research AS, as well as all users of the products, goods and services produced through the industrial processes, whose energy efficiency is increased as a result of the implementation of project - all citizens of the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Kingdom of Norway.
