Description
The project envisages a change in the energy source for heat supply of the municipal High School “St. St. Cyril and Methodius" located in the town of Strelcha. The school consists of three buildings that have been renovated and for which an energy efficiency project has been prepared. The heating installation of the school is water-pumped with forced circulation, and three branches of the heating installation of the school are supplied by means of collectors. The project will work on the construction of a new water supply pipeline, which will supply heat to the consumer installations of the buildings. The necessary energy for the heating and cooling of the building will be obtained from two independent mineral water springs: the first is named "Sondazh 1-HG" and is located in front of the municipal Mineral Bath Strelcha, and the second is located behind the Khan Asparuh monument.
Summary of project results
The heating of the school was not good and at the same time it was very expensive.
The implementation of the Project consists of the following parts: Construction of a heat pipeline route for mineral water from two existing mineral springs to the school buildings. Construction of a reservoir. Delivery and installation of an energy
heat pump installation. Delivery and installation of heating units (fan convectors). Reconstruction of an existing spring 40 ºC (dismantling and installation of equipment).
Use of geothermal energy for heating and cooling of the municipal school. Estimated annual energy savings in MWh/y - 855.03.
