Description

The project aims to address the critical challenge of decarbonizing the maritime sector by developing a scalable and efficient model of hybrid zero-emission power systems utilizing hydrogen fuel cells and batteries. This model will serve as a basis for performing feasibility studies for retrofitting existing ships with diesel engine generators or designing new hybrid power systems.

The project is expected to deliver a digital user interface that optimizes ship operations, enhances fuel efficiency, and ensures regulatory compliance through real-time data analytics and predictive maintenance
