Summary of the results

The bilateral initiative between Technology without Borders and Griffin & Johnson took place in Reykjavik from 5th to 11th November 2023. Five team members traveled to build partnerships and exchange knowledge. During the visit, the team met with various organizations, including WomenTechIceland, Origo, Deloitte Iceland, Einurd, Klak, BIAVI, Midstod, and /sys/tur. The team participated in mentoring sessions with Griffin & Johnson, who will continue to guide the team on entrepreneurship, data, and AI, while also helping them integrate into the Icelandic ecosystem. They also attended a networking event hosted by WTI and Origo on social entrepreneurship, and discussed the Icelandic tech landscape with Deloitte. At the Nordic Women in Tech Awards, the team connected with /sys/tur and met with BIAVI to learn about blindness-related issues in Iceland. Discussions with Klak focused on the Icelandic entrepreneurial ecosystem, while Einurd provided insights into sustainable development practices.
