Summary of the results
The bilateral initiative, implemented by Emfasis Non-Profit in collaboration with Arvoll Gard and Aktive Kvinner i Bjerke, focused on exchanging good practices and knowledge to empower heterogeneous vulnerable social groups. The initiative involved two consecutive training trips to Oslo and Athens, allowing participants to showcase their training and enhance their professional skills in psychosocial support services. The exchange involved over 22 professionals and 16 civil society organizations, engaging with diverse populations, including women, families, children, young people, migrants, refugees, substance-dependent individuals, and those experiencing homelessness. Participants actively took part in experiential workshops and interactive exercises, which helped consolidate their newly acquired knowledge, foster inclusive and democratic dialogue, and promote intercultural understanding. Moreover, interaction with beneficiaries of the involved institutions deepened participants'' understanding of the challenges faced by these groups, their causes, and how these challenges manifest in different socio-economic systems. Overall, the initiative provided a solid framework for building the capacity of all involved actors and served as a catalyst for exploring future collaboration opportunities.
