Description

The initiative refers to the participation of two members of PLAYING in a three-day training seminar and meeting to be organized by the Education and Youth Department of Reykjavik Municipality in Iceland. As part of the initiative we will organize presentations, workshops, meetings with practitioners and organizations, as well as visits to schools and play areas.
The purpose of the seminar, meetings and visits is to exchange knowledge, transfer know-how and networking between the two organizations.

Summary of the results

PLAYING visited the Department of Education and Youth in Reykjavik Island  in order to exchange best practices on how to design outdoor play areas in the city and the ways adults support children''s play. The two partners discussed policies about play and education, as well as the culture around child play in Iceland
