Description

The purpose of the bilateral meeting of representatives of the Czech and Norwegian Public Health Institute (NIPH CZ and NIPH NO) is to set up a specific framework for bilateral cooperation in the forthcoming PDP project AMR prevention (EEA Grants 2014-2021). Activity is planned as a one-day interactive workshop held at the NIPH in Oslo. The estimated number of participants is 5 (3 participants from NIPH NO and 2 Czech representatives of NIPH CZ, which will be the promoter of a PDP in the Czech Republic). Summary of the results

NIPH activities in the area of ​​antibiotic resistance and antibiotic stewardship were presented. The Czech side familiarized the Norwegian partners with the situation in the Czech Republic. The National Antibiotic Program (NAP), the history of the creation and organization of the NAP, the situation in the field of ATB resistance and consumption were presented, as well as the activities and experience to date in the area of ​​influencing the consumption of antibiotics. Activities within the framework of the PDP project were also presented and the possible contribution of the Norwegian side was discussed.
