Description

Thomayer hospital will continue and profound once established cooperation with its partner organization ATV. In 2016 we started our cooperation by training in Oslo and then we collaborated in publishing a textbook of scientific articles of Norwegian experts.
Within this initiative, we will prepare a setting for research on the impact of domestic violence on children´s cognitive, social and emotional development. We would like to continue translating Norwegian scientific text to the Czech language. In addition, we plan to continue sharing our experience with the treatment providing for

Summary of the results

The existing cooperation with ATV Tromso was expanded and cooperation with other participating organizations was established.

Current situation in the Czech Republic in the field of diagnostic and therapeutic work with victims of violence and those who commit violence was discussed, including work with children and the possibility of transferring Norwegian practice, examples of good practice were shared and the process of unifying diagnostic procedures and creating basic guidelines. It was possible to complete the translation of 2 professional articles related to the issue of the impact of violence on the somatic and psychological development of an individual and the effectiveness of therapeutic procedures.
