The pre-defined initiative continued also in 2019, the BI004 includes both visits. The activities took place one week in Liechtenstein (September 2019) and one week in the Czech Republic (October 2019). In Liechtenstein the programme entailed joint class attendance, a bus tour through Liechtenstein, a Hicking trip in the Liechtenstein mountains, a lesson and workshop about the common history of the Czech Republic and Liechtenstein, a workshop in the Art Museum Liechtenstein and a farewell evening. The program in the Czech Republic included a visit to the Valtice-Lednice areal and a tour through the castles, a Guided tour in Mikulov, a Visit of the castle and memorial Bitva u Slavkova (including the visit to a battlefield museum), joint class attendance, a visit to Villa Tugendhat in Brno as well as a farewell evening. Both classes furthermore stayed one day in Lower Austria and Vienna. During this visit the pupils had a reception at the Liechtenstein Embassy in Vienna, visited both Liechtenstein Palais and had a guided city tour. The school exchange further strengthened the bilateral relations between the Czech Republic and Liechtenstein by establishing long-lasting friendships between the pupils across borders. The lecture on the common history and the joint activities about the history of the two countries increased the understanding between the pupils and the two countries. The cooperation is foreseen also in next years.
