Description

The partner institutions in the project are Hedmark University College (Norway), University of Akureyri (Iceland), and Environmental Protection College (EPC, Slovenia). The project aim is to create good conditions for further cooperation among the partner institutions in the field of education and research, which is also one of the most important strategic goals of the EPC. With a more intensive cooperation with both partner institutions the project addresses an opportunity to spread institution's network with acquiring some new partners in the future. Target groups of the project are students of partner institutions, and also teaching, research and other professional staff. Students will get the opportunity to improve their knowledge and soft skills in an international environment. Teaching, research and other professional staff will get the opportunity to improve their professional knowledge, international educational experience, job shadowing, team working etc. The role of partners is being a host and a guest institution for student and staff mobility.

Summary of project results

Partner institutions in the project were Hedmark University College, Norway, University of Akureyri, Iceland and Environmental Protection College (EPC), Slovenia. Project helped to strenghten and intensivate international students and staff mobility between partner instutions in Norway, Iceland and Slovenia. Project also aimed to create good conditions for further cooperation between partner institutions in the field of education, training and research. Project addressed through more intensive cooperation with partner institutions the opportunity to spread institution's network with some new partners in the future. Target groups of the project were partners students, teaching, research and other staff. Students have got the opportunity to improve their knowledge and soft skills in international environment. Teaching, research and other staff have got the opportunity to improve their proffessional knowledge, international educational experience, job shadoving, team working etc.. Role of partners are as a host institution and as a guest institution for exchange students and staff.

Summary of bilateral results

The donor project partners have got the opportunity for dissemination of knowledge, work experiences, job shadowing, administrative and technical support. The partnership achieved the main goals: to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the field of education and training, further cooperation in other fields such as research, joint study programmes, cultural and social dimension, etc. The wider effects that the partnership has had: we knew each other much more in many points of view: us HEIs, in person (teaching and administrative staff met each other), our students have got the opportunity for mobility to donor countries, project partner etc. EPC’s director and dean have planned meeting with the teaching and other staff of the partner institution, teaching staff have met each other, they have shared knowledge, pedagogical and other experiences.
