Description
The project enables the project promoter to create an online application which includes 25 historical monuments from Craiova, Dolj County, South - West – Oltenia Region. The main purpose of the application is to develop a uniform database containing historical monuments managed by the Archbishopric of Craiova in order to permanently maintain an overall view of their status in order to prioritise strategies and policies to maintain, renovate and rehabilitate this heritage based on real need of reconditioning. Thus, each monument will be assigned a score calculated on the basis of an algorithm. This way of planning maintenance is relevant because The South-West – Oltenia development region has the second largest number of this type of heritage in Romania. Also at the moment there are no physical or virtual instruments to be used in order to assure an efficient management of the historical monuments. The project results in the development of an online application, the management of 25 historical monuments, two events organized, printed materials, a video spot, an audio spot and a documentary film.
Summary of project results
The grant contract was canceled on 04.11.2015 at the request of the promoter which did not want to continue implementing the project. The advance payment was reimbursed by the promoter to the PO.
