Description

Digital_ia 2015 is an interdisciplinary project, initiated in order to fill in the gap of poor representation of people from technical and scientific circles in cultural events. The project shall involve specialist audio-visual workshops, an international competition for young artists and the main exhibition.This activity aims to promote cultural diversity by presenting and disseminating the work of digital artists from different countries. The results of the festival shall include: reaching new audience through the use of state-of-the art digital technologies provided by the Norwegian partner in selected elements of the project, promotion of artists from Poland and abroad through the international transfer of artists. Free of charge participation in all elements of the project shall increase the availability of "high culture" and shall improve the quality of life of the local community, including ethnic minorities. The Donor Program Partner is Piksel Produksjoner Ltd., whose main tasks will be supporting and presenting of the selected works at the exhibition of the Young during PIKSEL Festival.

Summary of bilateral results

The Donor Program Partner was Piksel Produksjoner Ltd., whose main tasks was to support and present selected works at the exhibition of the Young during PIKSEL Festival. Digital_ia festival was based on the exchange of good practice and experience between partners for 2 years. The expertise of the Norwegian Partner in activities in the area of contemporary digital art, was used to generate the concept and programme of the next edition of Digital_ia. The Partner of the project presented the latest technological developments using free and open software.
