Summary of project results

The main objective of the project was to build a cooperation mechanism in the area of recognition and problem solving in the functional area "Near Cracow". The project positively influences the development of co-operation between municipalities, as evidenced by the adoption of a horizontal objective of the area strategy for joint management of the functional area. The implementation of the project greatly facilitates the cooperation between the Partners in other tasks, eg in the implementation of another partner project. "Creating a comprehensive tourist product of the Treasures of Cracow". The joint implementation of the project allowed to develop the ability of cooperation between the Partners, who plan further joint ventures, to identify and solve problems in the Functional Area "Together Near Cracow". Proof of a common future action is the signing on 16.12.2016 of a conference summarizing the project, a new agreement on the co-operation of the Communes and the District of Krakow in the functional area "Together Near Cracow". 6 communes (Skawina, Świątniki Górne, Czernichów, Liszki, Mogilany, Zabierzów) and the Krakowski district were included in the agreement. Joining the next Municipality partnership demonstrates the need to exchange experiences, especially those acquired during the implementation of the "Together Near Cracow" project, as well as joint problem solving and implementation of strategic investment tasks crucial to the development of the functional area. All indicators have been achieved and in 2 cases (in line with the PO approval) even exceeded (Number of local partners receiving documents; Design and engineering documentation and cost estimates, which need to be prepared directly from integrated sectoral strategies).
