Description

The project is needed in order to thermo-modernize outdated public infrastructure in the municipality of Dzialdowo. The aim of the project is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and air pollutants and increase the share of energy from renewable sources in the overall energy balance of Dzialdowo’s public infrastructure. The project covers eight municipal buildings, including two gymnasiums, and will provide for the insulation of walls, the replacement of windows and doors, the replacement of lighting, and the installation of biomass boilers. The project will benefit primarily the users of the localities as well as the whole municipality. Projects material scope has been extended, part of the project is co-financed under NFM.

Summary of project results

The implementation of the project contributed to the improvement of the ecological and economic effectiveness of Działdowo Commune. As a result of the thermomodernisation works on 9 public utility buildings (including schools and rural activities rooms), the beneficiary will later notice a decrease in the fees for the use of these buildings. The project covered almost 7 thousands m2 of walls, roofs, over 900 m2 of window frames and over 90 m2 of door joinery. In addition, the central heating system has been modernized and 9 biomass boilers with a total capacity of 589 kW have been installed. As a result of the completion of investment works, the production of energy from renewable sources amounts to 1 111,287 MWh /year. Investment allowed to reduce CO2 emission (841 Mg/year). Projects material scope has been extended, part of the project was co-financed under NFM.
