Description

The project aims to improve energy efficiency in utility buildings in the municipality of Skała. The need for the project is dictated by the fact that the buildings require insulation, replacement of window frames and the improvement of central heating and ventilation. This aim is going to be achieved through the installation of thermo-insulating walls in the buildings, the replacement of parts of window frames and the improvement of the ventilation and central heating systems. Due to this project, CO2 emissions will be reduced by more than 245 tons per year and the air quality will be improved. Higher thermal standards in educational settings will also be achieved, together with a measurable reduction in energy costs, creating savings to be used for other socially useful needs in the municipality. The whole community will benefit from the realization of this project.

Summary of project results

Buildings in Skała Municipality required insulation, replacement of window frames and improvement of central heating and ventilation. The aim of the project was to reduce CO2 emission and improve energy efficiency of the buildings. It was achieved thanks to thermomodernisational works that covered 6 public utility buildings (schools and kindergarten), thanks to them also costs connected with buildings usage will be lower. Within the project over 5,7 thousands of m2 of partition were insulated, almost 100 windows and doors were replaced. 6 interior installations were modernised, 127 photovoltaic cells and 2 ecological heating sources were installed. Investment allowed to reduce CO2 emission (245 Mg/year). From the project benefits whole municipality.
