Description

The expected result of the project is to improve the energy efficiency of the building involved in the project, reducing the operating costs associated with heating and reduce pollution of the environment. The multi-purpose utility building is designed for children and young people. In that light, the project will retain its effectiveness over a long period of time due to the large educational needs of children in the county. The aim of the project is to improve energy efficiency and adaptation to the needs of the all-in-one utility building in Oława, which is a former dormitory building. The implementation of the project will include the following results: Reduction of CO2 emissions to the level of 1038,97 (Mg/year). The management structure of the project is as follows: The entity responsible for the implementation of this project is the District Oława, Decision-making body is the Board of the District Oława to which the coordinator of the project, the contractor and the employees financially - accountants. The Board represents the Mayor of the District; Residents of the District of Oława, secondary school students, children and young people.

Summary of project results

Project implementation has resulted in achieving of following main outputs: CO2 emission reduction (Mg/year) - 1038,97; one building of socio-therapeutic and re-socialisation institution has been thermodernised. Among other works, one heat source has been modernised and building lightening has been replaced for energy efficient. What is more, the Beneficiary has learned the rules of the reasonable energy management and proper building administration (including using RES). His knowledge and awareness have been extended which can have positive impact also on future decisions.
