Description
The aims of the project are to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and air pollution, and increase the percentage of energy from renewable sources in the overall energy balance. As part of this, the project will improve the energy efficiency of the buildings housing the Specjalist Hospital Sz. Starkiewicza in Dąbrowa Górnicza, by constructing a cogeneration system with thermal modernisation, replacement of light sources and construction of photovoltaic panels. Poland faces significant challenges regarding the efficient use of electrical energy and the use of renewable energy sources, as well as the problem of high CO2 emission. The project is needed to improve the energy efficiency of buildings to reduce their maintenance costs and CO2 emissions. The project will not only improve energy efficiency in buildings but also increase the use of energy from renewable energy sources. It will increase the number of thermo-modernised buildings, replaced/modernised sources of heat and heating systems, and installed machines, devices and installations that use energy from renewable sources.
