Description

The implementation of this project will result in reduced energy consumption in the upgraded buildings and consequently in reduced expenses on their maintenance, reduced emissions of air pollutants and reduced adverse environmental impact. The objective of the project is to improve energy efficiency and to increase the proportion of energy generated using renewable energy sources in public buildings located in the area of the Union of Towns and Communes of the Parsęta River Basin and in adjacent communes. The results of the project will include reduced CO2 emissions to the amount of 717.92 Mg p.a. Energy produced using renewable energy sources will amount to 2.1528 MWh p.a. The envelopes of nine buildings will be thermally upgraded, two heat sources will be replaced and one RES will be installed. The objective of the project will be achieved by completing thermal upgrading works in public buildings, by replacing heat sources in two buildings and installing renewable energy sources in one building. The beneficiaries of the project include the users of the upgraded buildings, and indirectly the inhabitants of locations where the buildings are situated. Projects material scope has been extended, additional works have been co-financed under NFM

Summary of project results

The implementation of this project resulted in reduced energy consumption in the upgraded buildings and consequently in reduced expenses on their maintenance, reduced emissions of air pollutants and reduced adverse environmental impact. Thermomodernisational works covered 11 public utility buildings (including schools). Within the project over 16 thousands of m2 of partition were insulated, over 270 windows and doors were replaced. 12 interior and 3 ventilation installations were modernised, installed were ecological boilers and 2 solar collectors. Interior lighting was exchanged for ecological one. Investment allowed to reduce CO2 emission (843 Mg/year) and to increase energy production from RES. Projects material scope has been extended, additional works have been co-financed under NFM. Part of the project, in line with PO's approval, has been ended from Beneficiaries own funds.
