Description

The objective of the project is to reduce emission of pollutants and at the same time to reduce the costs of providing the school with hot water and the operation of the heating system. The aim is to achieve the following: 1. Cutting thermal energy demand and demand for electricity. 2. Limitation of CO2 emission. 3. Produce of energy from renewable sources. Through the exchange of doors, the use of insulating material on the top of the construction of the attic, replace currently used boilers with boilers using pellet stoves (and woodchips),replacement of CO installation into a new one with high efficiency and the replacement of a storage heater of usable hot water into a new one. Beneficiaries will be the residents of Prudnicki County and the students of the school.

Summary of project results

Thermomodernisational works covered one public utility building. Within the project over 1,353 m2 of partition were insulated, and 2 biomass boiler installed. Investment allowed to reduce CO2 emission (720,11 Mg/year). The Beneficiary emphasized that thanks to projects implementation ecological awareness and knowledge about res using and energy managing have rose among students, teachers and policymakers.
