Description

The project leads to reduced use of raw energy in the form of fuel, which will result in reduced emission of harmful substances to the air and improvement of the environment. The objective of the project is the improvement of the air condition in Świnoujście through the modernization of the dust extracting installation and the auxiliary devices of the WR5-022 K-1 boiler in PEC Sp. z o.o. The project implementation will facilitate the reduction of dust emission below 100 (mg/m³) and demonstrate the achievement of the expected ecological effect. Fitting of modern devices and modernization of the installation and the auxiliary devices of the WR5-022 K-1 boiler guarantees the achievement of high dust extraction effectiveness. The project implementation will have direct influence on the improvement of the natural environment as well as on the inhabitants of Świnoujście, the entrepreneurs and the tourists staying in this region. The vicinity of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Baltic Sea is a proof of the regional nature of the project.

Summary of project results

The project contributes to the reduction of carbon oxides, sulfur, nitrogen, dust and soot. The objective of the project was the improvement of the air condition in Świnoujście through the modernization of the dust extracting installation and the auxiliary devices of the WR5-022 K-1 boiler in PEC Sp. z o. o. Fitting of modern devices and modernization of the installation and the auxiliary devices of the WR5-022 K-1 boiler guarantees the achievement of high dust extraction effectiveness. The project implementation have direct influence on the improvement of the natural environment as well as on the inhabitants of Świnoujście, the entrepreneurs and the tourists staying in this region. The intended effect was achieved. Project implementation indicators have a higher value than assumed in the Plan of Implementation of the Project.
