Description
The need for execution of the project arise from low energy effectiveness of public buildings in the Pultusk District. (office building and health centre building.) The aim of the project is to reduce carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere through improving energy efficiency in public buildings in Pultusk District. Expected project results:increased number of thermomodernized public buildings, increased number of exchanged/modernized heat sources . Way to achieve above-mentioned results: insulation of the walls and ceilings of two public buildings, replacement of windows and doors, replacement of oil boilers in the health centre building, replacement of central heating system radiators, replacement of lighting sources. The project beneficiaries would be: the institutions' staff which work in modernized buildings, institutions’ clients which are coming to the building, institutions itself by reducing the cost of energy, local community by having better air quality through reduced emissions
Summary of project results
Buildings (office building and health centre building) that finally were thermomodernised within project originally were not energy effective. The main project aim was to reduce CO2 emission through improving technical conditions of above mentioned buildings. Within the project over 4.4 thousands of m2 of partition were insulated, 14 m2 of window frames and 12 m2 of door frames were replaced. Modernised were interior installations (hot water) and placed 2 ecological boilers. Interior lighting was exchanged for ecological one (448 lighting points replaced). Investment allowed to reduce CO2 emission (309 Mg/year).
