Description

Data gathered by the Park’s staff, researchers and students are scattered in various documents. It is necessary to harmonize them. The objective of the project is to enhance the management system of the National Park; to fill in gaps in species inventories; to set up a benchmark for future monitoring of forest and non-forest habitats; and to create an integrated data base and management system of the Park. The project will publish complex books on forest, non-forest and water habitats of the Parks, presenting the current state of knowledge. The project will also conduct workshops on monitoring, and ensure that the missing data will be collected, and that the data base and management system will be created. The managers of the park, as well as researchers, scientific institutions and organs of nature conservation, are expected to benefit from the project.
