Description

The project is needed to achieve the necessary limitation and liquidation of the invasive plant 'Barszcz Sosnowski' and to protect the domestic flora. This is an aggressive and invasive plant that is very difficult to control. It causes the degradation of the natural environment and limits the availability of land. The uncontrolled spread of invasive species results in measurable losses in agriculture. Barszcz Sosnowski is also dangerous for the health and life of people. The aim of the project is to increase national resistance to the invasive plant. The project is expected to reduce and eliminate Barszcz Sosnowski in the district of Sanok. The people expected benefits of the project are the inhabitants of the county of Sanok, and especially those with farms and other rural landowners, as well as tourists visiting our area. The project's numerous partners contribute technically and professionally to its activities, including by promoting the project, monitoring and combating the spread of the invasive species.
