Description
The aim of the project is to promote civil society development promoting voluntary work and to strengthen support for people at risk of social exclusion, promoting inter-generation cooperation in solving social problems. The target group - people with disabilities (persons with mental and physical disabilities disabilities), large and single-parent families. The project provides diverse activities that contribute to the risk of social exclusion of children and young people's integration into society through the development of competencies, to encourage inactive people to involve in social life, as well as focuses on young people's personal and professional growth. The Project Partner "Ēvele Elementary School" provides premises for the planned project activities. The school staff participates in project activities.
Summary of project results
The aim of the program was - with the help of volunteer work to promote civil society development and to strengthen support for Latvian social exclusion of people at risk of social inclusion, promoting intergenerational cooperation in solving social problems and skills. The target group was people with disabilities (persons with mental disabilities, people with physical disabilities), large and single-parent families. Project provided diverse activities that contributed to the risk of social exclusion of children and young people's integration into society through the development of competencies, to encourage inactive people more involved in social life, as well as a special focus on young people's personal and professional growth. Partner "Eveles Elementary School" in this project allowed the usage of their rooms for planned project activities. School staff participated in project activities. The project aims and activities were in line with Eveles Primary School aims that allowed basic knowladge development and raise of self esteam.
