Description

The scope of the project is the theatrical education of young age group via theatrical performances, and to present the culture and integration problems of minority groups. In the project this is achieved by the aspects of the involved Roma actors and those living with disabilities. The topic of the play is minority/majority issues and raising awareness about these. The play will show how people from minority groups - in this case Roma people and those living with disabilities - exclude a person from a majority group. The play is about this person’s challenges. All these are associated with fine arts. The topic of the play was outlined during the cooperation of the organizations involved. The inspiration for the project stems from Art Brut, outsider art, as an artistic trend. Outsider art occurs as an innovation and adapts in artistic performances in theatre and in exhibitions set in the lobby of a theatre. The project, inspired by a fine art branch, is supported by a seminary of the Faculty of Music and Visual Arts in the University of Pécs and also a seminary of the Department of Communication which gives a certain feed-back inspiration to our target group forming within the university.
