Summary of project results

One of the great achievements of the project led by INJUCAM is they have become more visible and have improved the relationship with administration, networks in which we work and political parties. The most successful activity in the project was the organization and celebration of the day of debate and reflection "and if children should vote?" It was a discussion on childhood policies in the Community of Madrid. On this day it was possible to bring together representatives of the various political parties that were presented to the elections of the Community of Madrid. INJUCAM and its partner organizations have worked firstly to explaining their proposals on children of Madrid and secondly, to expose his vision as privileged observers of the reality of neighborhoods. Through the project, the organizations involved have new tools such as a data base that has helped quantify data work done by partner associations and offer accurate data serve to incorporate all the work done from the Federation. This has allowed to publicize the importance of the work done in the neighborhoods where the organizations are located. They have been able to reach a consensus with the partner associations 40 proposals on child policy. It has been organized and prioritized the content of the topics to work with members of the Federation to generate positions on issues that concern them as an active part of them. With all this, we can say that, thanks to INJUCAM and its partners in the project, have become more visible and be more present in the Administration and in many other areas and, therefore, that children and young people they work with the Federation member associations have a place on the political agenda and taken into account in the planning of actions within the administration.
