Description

The main objective of SENERSIS is to create a platform of advanced energy systems based on energy data. The platform is composed of four levels: 1. Capture and storage of energy data. 2. Basic services able to transform data into information. 3. Toolkit of advanced services creation. 4. Repository of specific services for companies. The motivation to create SENERSIS comes from the previous development of an energy information system prototype based on semantic technologies derived from a project carried out previously by one of the entities of the consortium. Taking into account the knowledge and experience acquire during the development of the prototype, this project aims to create a new platform of integrated services. The services are adaptable to different user’s profiles (energy consultancy firms, administration, manufactures, installation firms) that will apply the new services in their respective areas. SENERSIS will use semantic technologies for the integration of data obtained from different sources, principally data given by firms and organizations that support the project and open data following the principles of Linked Data.

Summary of project results

Our main goal in this project is to develop a new advanced energy services platform, called SENERSIS able to ease the access of integrated data to our final users through carefully planned services adapted to their needs. The idea is to ease and make possible the integration of energy data from multiple sources for its further exploitation by organizations dedicated to energy efficiency improvement. The project execution has allowed us to obtain an escalated and dynamic configurable to many possible scenarios energy services platform, resulting in a potential future product to Innovati portfolio. This platform will allow us to create on demand services to many different corporations in a short period of time with a cost adjustment that will make Innovati more competitive. The communication and exploitation plans in this project have made possible to contact many energy related corporations, and through those we have been able to search new ways of usage for this platform.
