NGO Do Good main area of activity is to collect used clothing, accessories and other appliances and distribute them among families in need, safe houses, children's homes, etc. During the course of the project they will build contacts and expand their activities to other areas in Estonia as well as discuss cooperation possibilities with volunteers based in Finland and Norway. In order to increase financial sustainability of the organisation a fund-raising plan will be developed and areas of potential social entreprise development will be discussed.
Summary of project results
The aim of the project wa to raise the financial viability of NGO Do Good and reach out to other regions outside the capital. As a result of the project DoGood established working relationship with several new partners, recruited new volunteers and first time reached out to Russian-speaking community. During the course of the project Do Good's fundraising and social entrepreneurship development plan was worked out as well as piloted. By the end of the project Do Good's has extended its reach and grown in size about three times and mediate charitable donations to an extended target group and amount.
