Summary of project results

The project was necessary for supporting NGO VitaTiim purposeful activities and improvement of their quality, involvement of new people, development of our social entrepreneurship and dissemination of the impact we make. The main aim of the project was: “NGO VitaTiim is an active, strong and sustainable union, which provides an encouraging and international environment for youth in the region of Ida-Virumaa for participation in lifelong learning and implementation of competences on their way of development in the open world”. Tasks in the project were development of multicultural non-formal learning open space for young people, hiring of an open-space coordinator and organisation of her job shadowing in Latvia, involvement of active volunteers, working out a new website, making new profitable learning programmes for young people and their parents. In general all objectives are reached. Just one objective connected with social entrepreneurship is still in development. „Open space” project helped us become closer to this goal. We still keep most of our activities free of charge. The main impact on the organization is that we improved management of organization and reorganized responsibilities. The organization became stronger and well-known among youngsters and adults. The results will be sustained through effective management, planning, regular activities, collecting and analyzing feedbacks, being open and flexibile. The main beneficiaries are young people 7-30 y.o who take part in VitaTiim`s events and get more opportunities to be involved in international activities. Through „open space“ activities young people developed their key competences and skills, got new knowledge and became more prepared for future life.
