Description

The project arose from the need to strengthen the platform for the exchange of ideas and energies between two cultural contexts in order to bring new ideas on arts and society, and in particular create a major opportunity to improve the productive potential of cooperation. The main objective of the project is to support the development of arts and creativity, and focus on strengthening the bilateral relationship between the two environments. The project objective is to organize a creative workshop and to support new art projects. These will be achieved via an international exhibition together with a performance event. The project is intended for the general public, while about a third of visitors are expected to be foreigners. The Norwegian curator and critic Anne Szefer Karlsen is the Donor partner of the project. Both partners are professionally involved in the planning and implementation and contribute to the results. 15 contemporary Norwegian artists are invited to become active in the Czech Republic, thereby enriching cultural networks. Creation and promotion of the cultural diversity and bilateral cooperation are also envisaged thanks to the project partnership.
