Summary of project results

The project influenced greatly the development of KA Sport organization and the two partner organizations – Baby and Child Association and Fatherhood Foundation. The project’s participants were introduced to new techniques of working with children and youth, like Dr. Karp’s for the youngest children, like Therapeutic Photography and Improvisational Theatre, which are planned to be used in future activities and projects. The Therapeutic Photography turned out to be extremely valuable method for working with dependencies and the work with that target group will continue. The collaboration with Fatherhood Foundation will also continue after the completion of the project - organizing more workshops with the children at “Kniaz Boris I” Social Learning and Professional Centre. This will ensure the possibility to continue with this method for working with children and youth at risk. What was learnt during the Marketing and PR course was extremely valuable to KA Sport and will be used in the future. All methods and techniques for working with children and youth at risk demonstrated during the project can be considered as good practices and are accomplishments of the three partnering NGOs. The main idea of the project was to demonstrate the good practices and achievements in the work with children and youth at risk and share these good practices and achievements amongst each other and this way to raise substantially the managerial and creative potentials of KA Sport and its partners. Information for the good practices and implemented activities is updated on each of the websites of the partners: www.kasport.eu , www.bebe-dete.com and www.bashtinstvo.com.
