Description
The main objective of the project proposal is to be reduced the greenhouse gas emissions and to increase the share of renewable sourses in the energy consumption of 6 municipal buildings, in which are situated establishments and institutions, providing social and administrative services. By building heating, cooling and domestic hot water production installations using renewable energy sources, it will be increased the energy efficiency of the 6 municipal buildings: the Créche building, the Detelina Full Day Kindergarten building - the Detelina Base,the Detelina Full Day Kindergarten - separate building, the Iglika Base building to the Detelina Full Day Kindergarten, Municipality of Dryanovo building and the Building of the Labour Office and the Tax Office in the Municipality of Dryanovo. This will ensure the achievement of aims of the Financial Mechanism and the EU, as well as the priorities identified in the European and national strategic documents related to the Energy and Environment Sectors.
Summary of project results
The main goal of the project: Increasing the energy efficiency of municipal buildings, providing social and administrative services to the population in the Town of Dryanovo by building highly efficient heating systems and increasing the share of energy from renewable sources had been achieved by implementation of project activities. Installed systems for heating and production of hot water using renewable energy - aerothermal, solar and biomass in the 6 municipal buildings saved significant fuel and electricity costs, which the municipality of Dryanovo makes in the social sphere, and which will be redirected to activities with greater need and more urgency, for which the funds have not been reached so far. After the implementation of the energy saving measures for the six sites of Dryanovo municipality, the following final results have been achieved: 1.The total amount of energy saved for the six sites - 355,226 kWh/year. 2. The annual amount of energy produced from RES totaling 285,929 kWh/year. 3. Significantly reduced CO2 emissions, with the expected progress in their reduction by 653.2 t / year, including biomass of 455 t / yr. and the use of solar energy of 198.2 t / yr.
